Investment bankers, Mike Easterly and Chris Battel, who gained experience at prestigious regional and national firms, formed Legacy Securities Corp. in 1994. Working together at Morgan Keegan, Mike and Chris saw many high-quality, middle-market sized growth companies passed over due to their size. They noticed a large, underserved market of companies and entrepreneurial businesses that didn’t have access to or were unaware of traditional Wall Street level advisory services. With this in mind, they decided to form Legacy with the strategic mission that still exists today, to provide high quality investment banking services to middle market entrepreneurial and growth oriented companies.
