The four building Center will house the University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, the College of Law, classroom building, and an auditorium.

The committee is headed by Robinson alumnus Michael D. Easterly, co-founder of Legacy Securities Corp. and member of the Robinson College Board of Advisors. Other members named today are Robinson alumnus David Boehmig, president of Jenny Pruitt & Associates; Powell A. Fraser, president of Turner Properties, Inc.; Greg Giornelli, president of the Atlanta Development Authority; Cathy Henson, founder and president of the Georgia School Council Institute, chair-elect of the Georgia State Foundation and alumnae of Georgia State's Law School; A. Huss noted that this committee blends "a unique combination of talents." He said that while the "Professional Center is key to the future for the Colleges and the University, it will also be a tremendous asset to the city of Atlanta."

The task force is charged with identifying possible sites downtown within close proximity to the main university campus.

Huss commended Easterly for accepting the leadership position and said, "We are pleased that Mike has chosen to further his hard work as a past chairman of the Georgia State University Foundation by accepting an advisory position with the Robinson College and as the head of our facilities task force. We are confident that together with the other task force members, Mike will help us secure our future home."
