Legacy's Easterly receives Georgia State University's Distinguished Alumni Service Award

What:        Georgia State University Spring 2005 Commencement

Rep. Glenn Richardson, speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, will address graduating students at the 10 a.m. ceremony. Renee Glover, CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority, will be the commencement speaker at 2 p.m. Jerry Dempsey, retired CEO of PPG Industries Inc., will address students at the 6 p.m. ceremony. During the morning and evening ceremonies, four alumni awards also will be presented: the Distinguished Alumni Community Service Award (10 a.m.); and the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the Distinguished Alumni Service Award and the Distinguished Alumni Professor Award (6 p.m.). Tickets are required for admission. About 2,600 students will graduate this spring, with about 2,150 students attending commencement ceremonies.
